How to change the theme of Office 2013

Just wanted to add my voice to those who have expressed strong dissatisfaction with the Office 365 color schemes. All three are too low in contrast.

I am stunned by Microsoft's lack of responsiveness in this matter. After the Windows 8 fiasco, it is hard to believe that MS remains so certain about its user interface expertise and so unresponsive to customer dissatisfaction. It is a textbook case of a company determined to erode its hard-earned reputation and give business to its competitors.

Office 2013 and Windows 8. Why does Microsoft continuously take pleasing UI's and destroy them to such a degree that I (we) don't want to use them anymore. Whoever is behind this at Microsoft should be removed ASAP!! Windows 8 is at least tolerable with 3rd party programs and skins but Office 2013 is not so fortunate. I am joining the masses in asking Microsoft to please do something. When I am looking at a computer screen for 10-12 hours a day, it's just as important for the programs I am using to be pleasing to the eye as well as functional!

Unfortunately, yes, there's a bit of confusion there. I'm sure MS has some "floater" programmers who're shuffled around as each team needs a helping hand however, by and large OS and application programming are two different disciplines that would preclude a cross-product expertise.  

Think of it like automobiles: you wouldn't want an engineer who specializes in body-frames being tasked with fixing a design flaw in a transmission. Sure, a car's a car and it's all engineering but the amount of differing, specialized knowledge involved in those two design fields is overwhelming.

The original question on this thread is a misnomer... it should be "How to I change the appearance of Office 2013 to actually be usable?"
