How to change the theme of Office 2013

Just purchased and installed office 2013. holy ****, this is the ugliest version of WORD/EXCEL/OUTLOOK/POWPERPOINT/............................that I have ever seen! Did you see it? I purposely used CAPITAL here, as those used for the tabs now. Can anyone tell me who comes out this idea? This is only one of the many pains beside the boring color.

While everything else on the world is getting better and better, I guess Office/Windows are exceptions. Really miss windows XP/office 2003. Are we really watching the sunset of MS?

Anyway, I HAVE TO give OFFICE 2013 up after staring at it for 3 minutes, before I get mad enough to hammer my machine into pieces. I need to forget about the money I spent before MS fixes the problem.

The only comfort I get from this is knowing that I didn't spend a lot of money on this product only to be stuck with an unusable set of theme choices.  I read everyones posts to this point and have not found one positive response to the "look and feel" of this product.

If MS is really "actively collectiong, sorting and reading through feedback", then it should be fairly obvious to them by now that whoever made the choice of these themes should be fired.

My install left the entire 2010 suite behind, so I will be using it at least until MS can get thier act together and get a Service pack released with themes that actually don't offend.

I have to say that I like a lot of the features this release has to offer, and I will be keeping the install so I can use some of those features, but until the visibility issue is cleared up, Office 2010 will be my default.

These comments are also being forwarded back to my IT department so my company won't have to make the same mistakes so many others have obviously already made.

You can change the theme in Office by clicking File > Account page in any Office product with the exception of Outlook. In Outlook, Click File > Office Account to change the theme.

There are three themes available in Office 2013:

White - Default

Light Gray

Dark Gray

Change the Office theme

All the default theme are very light. It causes problem who maximum time use office 2013.

Can we get & use another dark theme. Or can we customized these theme color as like window 7 theme color?

I recently switched to Office 2013, actually 365... 

I have to tell you I am completely aghast at the theme choices. White, light gray and dark gray?!?! Really!?!? I've had a headache all day and my eyes are killing me.

Is there any chance that a fix to this could be rolled out any time soon? 

Seriously, this is AWFUL!!!
