How to change the theme of Office 2013

Realistically, I don't think Microsoft is going to fix this. With their resources, even on the lowest priority budget, how long could it take ? a month ? 6 months at most ? If they were going to fix it then they already would have. It will just be yet another outrage that leaves half the world's computer users compromised and clamouring for a fix that never happens - like the can't-set-a-default-colour-profile bug that has been in windows for years and a whole load of others I could list that have never been fixed either.

Microsoft has demonstrated again, if they cannot "borrow" from someone elses idea, they cannot get it right. The color issue will result in occupational claims for eye strain, migraines and lost time. To not take action is obviously neglect of your customers, and potentially a disregard for the public health. I hope there are some good lawyers out there to take you to task. FIX IT!

Thank you for the feedback on Office’s new look. We are actively collecting, sorting and reading through feedback on Office 2013’s design and User Experience. As the audience for Office 2013 grows, we are being mindful of patterns and pain points that emerge from user feedback. While we do not have any additional Themes planned at this time, it is an issue we are watching very closely.

Jennie, you wrote that 10 months ago - people are still complaining so I think we can take it that users do not particularly like these themes. 

When will something be done?

Ditto! "Watching very closely" - What does that even mean? Are Microsoft going to bring out something new next year that we will be forced to buy so we don't have to use 2013 anymore? Cannot changes be incorporated into the endless Microsoft Updates?
