You can change the theme in Office by clicking File > Account page in any Office product with the exception of Outlook. In Outlook, Click File > Office Account to change the theme.

There are three themes available in Office 2013:

White - Default

Light Gray

Dark Gray

    Hold on, Office 2016 may be our saving grace.

    What makes you think Office 2016 would be better as each of the two past updates have gotten worse... you have some inside knowledge you want to share... or was that meant to be a joke?

    I presume this hasn't been addressed yet.  The colour, or lack of is driving me mad.  Is there any more updates on this from Microsoft?

    Look like Microsoft can't give a fig for users. Its now 2015 and we still have the same horrid themes. I would really like to have two Outlook on secure via RDP and one non-secure, and to have a RED these for the secure so its obvious. Seems simple but no way apparently.
