Dear Microsoft,
Why is there a serious lack of congruency between Microsoft products? Why can I not have my office apps, visual studio, and windows all have the same look/feel? It's not as if we (see above) are asking you to change the themes for 3rd party apps. Themes
came about how long ago as an OS built in feature? Why are there no options for color schemes? I say no options because dark gray hardly looks dark gray, in fact it seems lighter than neutral gray. It's too bright! I like to have outlook open on my second
monitor while I'm working but I can't stand it as I have this giant white ball of light blasting in through the side of my vision. Adjusting the monitor is not a viable option as anytime you switch to another app you would have to adjust it again.
Congruent theming between Microsoft apps has been a staple feature for over a decade. It is reasonable to assume that this feature would continue to be offered. In-fact one could say that it is a feature that lead thousands of customers to purchase.
Furthermore, upgrading to a new version just so one can have a dark theme that matches the rest of the operating system/software packages is a ridiculous notion for such an expensive purchase.
Do not reply with that lame copy-paste response. Thousands of paying customers are complaining about this low-cost easy to fix issue. Which in-turn means that there are thousands more that despise it equally as much but have not sought to
supply their two-cents.
Do reply with something along the lines of "it will be fixed in the next update".
Sincerely,
-Shareholder
