Kirra - not long really. I've tried but again, the features just don't stack up to the sheer unusability of product.
I'm 56, I need glasses to read a book but at the moment I'm fortunate in that I don't need glasses to do my job (I'm a infrastructure engineer - an old MCSE!). This involves staring at dual LCDs running @ 1920 x 1200 during the day. I have no problem coping
with Office 2010 which I use constantly. 2013, Visio specifically, requires me to squint to execute basic tasks such as laying out the plan for data center components and using the rulers to ensure the row spacing is accurate. I don't want to compromise on
screen real estate i.e. lowering the resolution as this just means more scrolling around the page. I'm also miffed that I should even need to consider this as I regard this as a "form over function" descision.
Simple answer is to just keep using 2010. Problem for MS is I can also influence some of the descisions in my company (only 1000 users) and I'm happy to let others know of my issues. Not huge but...
