same here, I upgraded my computers back to office 2010 and Windows 7. I’ve been advising all my clients(computer consultant) and friends to stay away from both until MS get over their identity crisis and hopefully get back to their senses before is too late. If anyone ask my advice for a new computer, I recommend to get Windows 7 if it is for work(Dell and other still offer it as default OS for their non-disposable computers) and Office 2010. Otherwise to get a Mac with Google Drive, else to try Kingston’s office or iWork. All which are free and would suffice for most general users functionality needs. To add insult to injury, any search you do in Office 2013 you’ll see users complaining about all the short comings of the new (windows 3.1) GUI, but nothing from MS admitting or realizing that it is poorly designed, and they will address the users “concerns” by providing additional (functional) themes.
@ Microsoft: I have nothing against change and innovation. And I do believe that a MS Office GUI refresh was long overdue, but this is just plain BAD, and ugly! Upgrades, especially paid ones, should make people want to get it because of new features and improvements. So stop sabotaging one of the few things you have going by crippling it into
compatibility with your half-baked mobile OS. In case you were not aware Apple uses a different OS for their mobile devices than the one they use in their computers.
My comments might sound silly and snarky, but the way you guys been doing things for the last few years … :/
Please stop playing catch up in the mobile OS by trying to appeal to people that don’t care about your products not matter what, by **** off the people that still are with you. Instead lead by innovation by listening to YOUR customer needs and wants.
