The "edit wrap points" in Publisher 2013 don't seem to work. Is there a solution?

Other than cropping, I was able to use edit wrap points to edit pictures to get just a portion of the object.  How does this work in Publisher 2013?

Unless the freehand shape is an option, the function has not evolved well. **In previous versions, the portion of the image outside of the wrap points was not visible.**This is a function I use daily and will have to find an alternative now.

Uh, no, it does NOT!!!!  I find it absolutely ridiculous that this feature has been removed.  Quite honestly, I use it so much that had I know it would not be available in 2016, I would never have updated.

Microsoft, they put dang people on the moon.  You should be able to fix this issue.  No excuse is good enough.  You have made my job really difficult.

UPDATE - I am actually on hold RIGHT NOW waiting for the fourth tech they've transferred me to in regards to this issue. It's INSANE and utterly inexcusable that they haven't simply fixed this feature. Also - getting through to them on the phone now requires a virgin sacrifice, half a pound of vanilla incense, and a chicken foot.

I've now been on hold for 37 minutes...

... I waited 48 minutes, then hung up and tried the call AGAIN. I'm now on hold for the EIGHTH time, and have been transferred six times. I do not believe that they either can or want to help any of us AT ALL and I'm going to look into cancelling my 365 subscription and going back to the previous version on disc.

    What a joke.

OK. So I just spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone with Microsoft Tech Support...

First call, the robot hung up on me.

Second call, the first human I got to hung up on me.

Third call, I was transferred four times to a supposed-tech that put me on hold in a queue for another tech, I waited 48 min on hold then hung up and called back.

Fourth call, more transfers (by the way, keep pushing ZERO over and over again and the robot dude that you initially get WILL default to a human), and I finally get a nice lady named Anushka on the line. I explain the Edit Wrap Points feature to her, and we decided for her to do a remote takeover and physically see it on my screen was best. So we did that...

VERY long story short: THEY KNOW IT'S BROKEN. DEVELOPERS HAVE KNOWN FOR YEARS. And after we used the word ESCALATE several times, they will supposedly call me when they fix it for the next big update. M'hm. I believe that. Sure, I do.

Anushka then remotely installed Publisher 2010 for me.

They're not going to fix it, y'all. They're just not.
