The "edit wrap points" in Publisher 2013 don't seem to work. Is there a solution?

Other than cropping, I was able to use edit wrap points to edit pictures to get just a portion of the object.  How does this work in Publisher 2013?

Unless the freehand shape is an option, the function has not evolved well. **In previous versions, the portion of the image outside of the wrap points was not visible.**This is a function I use daily and will have to find an alternative now.

    Using SHAPES to load with my images and editing the wrap points.

    Thanks for this most helpful tip. It worked fine once I sent my picture "backwards" behind the 'shape' and text. It shouldn't be this awkward and I think I was able to accomplish this much easier in earlier versions of Publisher...

    You can also insert a 'shape' and use the 'freehand' option under lines to create any shape and then fill that shape with your picture. You can edit the freehand shape points to do something similar to what you did before.
