Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
None of these fixes have worked for me. I am taking online classes and need to use my office suite. This is very frustrating!

While I trying to install Office 2013, the process of the background installation seem like pausing at 84% and not moving.

See "General troubleshooting for installing Office 2013 and Office 365" at:

See ""Something went wrong" error when you install Office 2013 or Office 365" at:

and, if necessary http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2822317
If that does not help, then you might remove all traces of the Office installation by running the fixit from the following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501
and then reinstall Office by logging into www.office.com/myaccount with your registered email address and click Install Office.
I did this while it was stuck - immediately moved to 94%.
- Click start
- right click compute
- click manage
- under system tool
- click local users and group.
- in the right pane double click groups
- double click Administrators
- click add
- from location select your local computer name.
- type "N" under "enter the object names to select (example)
- Slect "NETWORK SERVICE"
- click OK out of it.
- Try the install of the office again.
Is your information above for Windows 7 or 8? I'm running 7. After clicking start, then right clicking computer and selecting manage, the computer management screen opens up but there is no local users and group under system tools. Can you offer any suggestions?
Thank,
Rick Morrison
