Error 1920. Service osppsvc failed to start

I obtained Microsoft Officew Professional Plus 2010 for home use via the Home Use Program. I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. When I try loading Office I get the following error message:

Error 1920. Service 'Office Software Protection Platform' (osppsvc) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

I have administrator privileges on my computer. So I need help resolving this issue.

Open Run (Press Windows key + R) > type services.msc and click on OK

On the services MMC window right-click on Office Software Protection Platform and select Properties

Select the LOG ON tab > change the ‘Log on as’ information from ‘This Account’ (Network Service) to ‘Local System Account’

Click on Apply and OK

    If you still subscribe to this thread, please contact me. I have a question. There is "no" "Local Users and Groups" access in Windows 7 Home Premium, only professional and ultimate. Any solution? I sure would like to implement your fix. I've tried everything else I could find and nothing else, none of the other fixes have worked. Please email me at ******@msn.com. Thanks.
