Microsoft Access can't find the wizard.

In addition to the things that Gina has mentioned, ensure that your wizard folder is in a trusted location:

1. Go to the Trust Center by Clicking on File ->Access Options->Trust Center->Trust Center Settings->Go to Trusted Locations
2. If the path “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\ACCWIZ” is not listed under the User Locations, add it as follows:
3. Click Add New Location->Browse->Go to the folder “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\ACCWIZ”.
4. Close out of the Trust Center, exit Microsoft Access and then reopen it. Do your wizards now work?

1. Create a new blank db
2. External Data
3. Import & Link -> Excel
4. Browse and select .xlsx file
5. Select Import the source data into a new table in the current database.
6. Click OK
7. Error comes up:

Microsoft Access can't find the wizard. This wizard has not been installed, or there is an incorrect setting in the Windows Registry, or this wizard has been disabled.

To reenable this wizard, click the File tab, and click Access Options. Click Add-Ins, and then in the Manage list, click Disabled Items, and then click Go. Rerun Microsoft Access or Microsoft Office Setup program to reinstall the wizards. If the missing wizard is not a Microsoft Access wizard, reinstall it using the Add-in Manager.

I have check the disabled Add-Ins and there are none.

Programs and Features > Microsoft Office > Change > Add or Remove Features:

Using plus arrow beside Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel to ensure all sub features are set to: Run from My Computer

And then...

Programs and Features > Microsoft Office > Repair

Still the same issue after Repair and reboot.

Seeing as this is an issue on three separate installs of Access, I'm sure more people be running into the issue.

Just as an added note, this seems to be an Access 2010 issue. I have tested this on three different computers with Access 2010 and they all throw the same error.
