Everytime I try to open office 2007, it keeps re-installing the software and takes a good while before it opens.
This happens for all programs in the suite; excel, word...etc. I am using Vista, can anyone please help?

Hey Carey,
Thanks so much for the info. Unfortunately the "Download" files gave an error. It says "Files not for your system." There were three files to download for Vista but they all gave me an error.
Thanks again, any more suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
The following are the correct files to download, depending on which bit version of Vista you are using:
Windows Vista 32-bit: Windows6.0-KB942288-v2-x86.msu
Windows Vista 64-bit: Windows6.0-KB942288-v2-x64.msu
