Hello Everyone,

Is there a way to copy a page from one 2007 publisher document (with all the txt boxes, pictures and formatting) and add that page into another 2007 publisher document?

Thanks to all who reply,

Ismael

Hi,  This is a year late more or less, but here is how to do it in MS Pub 2010:

    Open source publication

Select the entire page (click on the file desktop, then ctrl + A)

On the insert tab, select Page Parts and then Add Selection to Page Parts Gallery

    Close source publication

    Open target publication

Create a blank page (right click on existing page in navigation pane and insert blank page)

Open Page Parts on the Insert Tab and select the source page part you created

A small box will appear next to the page asking which color scheme you want to apply.

Voila! Cloned page with formatting in place

Note: the clone will be grouped; you will need to ungroup to manipulate the page contents

Note: this will probably only work if the source and target pages are the exact same size.

    Dear Tom

What a great response, thank you for the tip. I will be using your advice a lot. I was under the impression that Page Parts only worked for graphics, but no! The whole page grouped as you said. Once again thank you very much.

Ernst Lopes Cardozo , I cannot believethat nobody before me has thanked you to the stars!  Your workaround -- in combination with the "page parts" tip suggested earlier -- was the only way I could get one page to copy perfectly to a new (blank) page in a new document without losing my formatting!

(Those folks who blithely suggest CTRL-A, then CTRL-V, must not have very complex formatting going on in their source document.)

Thank you so much, Ernst Lopes Cardozo , for your brilliant --  for some reason heretofore overlooked -- solution!

It doesn't work!  I have tried many different ways but it always changes the formatting and the font to suit itself.

In fact, this only works if both documents use the same styles. When pasting, the local styles are applied - the source of much confusion and frustration. Fortunately, you can import the styles from one document in another.
