I just removed the Microsoft Office 2010 to reinstall a fresh one because the previous one is a trial and when I click start to use the Microsoft Office, it always load to page 4 of 4 and pop up an error saying that Microsoft Office is unable to start, I decided to remove it and brought to my school so the instructor can install a full version of Microsoft Office 2010 for me. But then inside the My Computer it automatically built up a "drive?" Microsoft Office Click-to-Run 2010 (Protected) (Q:) [doesn't have this drive at new bought]. I couldn't remove this nor using uninstall from the Control Panel. It run the uninstalling but while the process is popped up an error stated that the process cannot be complete. Please contact the Microsoft Product.
Anybody know the solution for this, please I need help.

This is by-design. The Click and Run version uses AppV [1] which creates this drive.

What is the use than, beside annoying people ?
I had a similar problem with this Q drive that just came from nowhere...I have only just managed to sort out all the full access + permissions to my system with the help of someone here..I now have no restrictions at all.....Except, this microsoft office click to run Q drive...I can't change anything about it at all, it's having none of it...It doesn't really bother me now that I know what it is, but....After a system update a few weeks ago, I had to restart + when I did, My microsoft word starter 2010 that I use, had been taken over by this office one....I couldn't get into any of my files that I had created in word, although they were in my files on my hard drive, the system couldn't access them....
I eventually managed to get them back in the end by doing a system restore to get word back....I'm not too impressed with that..If it does that again, I may not be able to recover all my work this time...It seems to me that although I am used to windows 7 now + on the whole, it's a pretty good OS, but it does seem to have some horrendous setbacks that would make things a **** of a lot better for everyone if they could be sorted out....
