Transfer license to a new computer

Hello all,

I just purchased a new computer and want to transfer my Microsoft Office license to the new computer. How do I do that? Can someone send me step-by-step instructions?

The activation process keeps track of number of times you have used a product key. If this is your 4th installation you may get message saying you can't use this product key. Make sure you uninstall from one of the other machines. If it won't allow you to activate, you will have to do a phone activation and tell the service rep that you have uninstalled from one of the previous machines.

    I just had a new SSD drive installed on my old desktop with the old drive left with data files only.  I have Office 2007 on the old hard drive.   When I tried to install Office on the new drive, i'd already used all the installations.  How can I activate

    it on the new drive?  Transfer if from the old drive or just activate it by phone?

    I'm not sure if Microsoft is supporting the 2007 version. It's best if you call them.
