Transfer license to a new computer

Hello all,

I just purchased a new computer and want to transfer my Microsoft Office license to the new computer. How do I do that? Can someone send me step-by-step instructions?

The activation process keeps track of number of times you have used a product key. If this is your 4th installation you may get message saying you can't use this product key. Make sure you uninstall from one of the other machines. If it won't allow you to activate, you will have to do a phone activation and tell the service rep that you have uninstalled from one of the previous machines.

    There is no such Microsoft Office as 360.  I think that you may mean Office 365.  Sign into your Office Account on your new computer. Deactivate Office See HERE  Then reinstall Office See HERE

    PS: the reason the link does not work is that this thread is was started in 2011. You really should start your own thread and provide information re your system and which office you have so that other members of the forum can assist you.
