My computer will only print one copy even tho i select muliple copies

I cant seem to figure out why the programme will only allow me to print one copy of a document at a time even tho multiple copies are selected!! i have installed the printer drivers again and am nearly sure that its not the printers fault? any ideas anyone?

Just to confirm this fixed the issue for me.  Printer is an HP LaserJet 3330 using Windows 7's own driver.  Disabling Mopier mode (which had been enabled by default) fixed the problem and allowed multiple copies to be printed.   Steps to fix:

  1. Start > Devices and Printers

2. Double-click printer

  1. Double-click "Customize your printer"
  2. Click "Device Settings" tab
  3. Scroll to bottom of page and change "Mopier Mode" to Disabled under the "Installable Options" group.

Thanks for pointing this out David, it's something that's been bugging me since Vista.

Does this issue happen only with Word?

Did you try to print in other Office applications like Excel?

Check if you can print multiple copies in WordPad and Excel.

If it happens only in Word, check this article and see if it helps

    I am having this problem with my LaserJet 1200 PCL5. It will print multiple copies if I turn off collating, but that is a real pain.Same problem in all applications, even PDF files in Adobe Reader act the same way.

    There is no mopier on this small printer, so that fix is not an option. I have tried all the other suggested ideas with no success. I am beginning to believe that this printer may not be fully compatible with Windows 7 x64. I have found no good leads to a driver that will fix this.

    Looking for any reliable fix that does not involve getting a new printer.

    I finally read these comments and the fix by changing the "mopier" setting to "disabled" seemed to correct the one page print on my HP LaserJet 1300 printer.  Thanks to those who submitted answers.  Have a great New Year....  Doug
