I know most don't like the office assistant, but I've recently upgraded to 2010 and miss my kitty. Is it possible to get it for 2010?

So why in the world would MS programmers delete a feature that "many people" wanted?
The "many" are what's left after MOST people turned it OFF. An insignificant number...
Good riddance I say.
Why not learn to USE the applications instead of having to be prompted by a lunatic cartoon character?
Realise however that for as many people who might want to bring Clippy back, there are probably hundreds of times as many who turned the feature off as soon as they found out how to once it had reared its head.
Yes, Doug, but it was a feature that could be easily turned off. So why in the world would MS programmers delete a feature that "many people" wanted? It is something MS programmers always seeem to do with program updates, when it is really unnecessary.
It is similar to what they did with MSFSX, which they submitted world-wide, except they ignored that there are other agencies than the American FAA that use different regulations (eg. identification lighting). World-wide my foot. Just my observations. John
Real kittens can also play the piano in the same manner, both are irritating. However, the kitty and puppy assistants were just....well, cute...and helpful. And did not mess on the floor, or chew, nor did they have to be fed......ah well...I will survive, just as I did after the death of my Real kitty...I just do not want to...maybe I will feel different tomorrow...but I doubt it.

I wasn't being sarcastic at all. The simple fact is that the office assistants are gone and will not come back, at least not in the current version of Office.
If people want an animated cat, the little NEKO app that I suggested searching for is a real program that gives them an onscreen cat. It's cute and quite clever ... it even purrs, if I remember correctly.
There is no need for sarcasim. Some people obviously liked the animated assistants. I am one of those people, but I just thought it was cute. It was capable of being turned on and off, so it is strange that it wasn't brought back in the 2010 version. Anyway, a simple "sorry, it isn't available" would suffice and leave it at that. Now, whoever is answering these people, you are beginning to become a jerk.
