Project 2010 Timescale Error.

I have a sample project which has very short tasks(1-2 minutes).  If I set the timescale options to display minutes with a count of 1, the Gantt chart frequently displays incorrectly.  The Gantt chart show tasks starting 1 minute before the start of working time (Standard Calendar), the timescale count is variable (2 or occasionally 3 minutes) and the Gantt bars do not display correctly, either with the wrong duration or just a short vertical line.  Is this a know bug?

Hi Mike,

Sorry but I fail to see what a re-post could do after 40 replies and the finding that yes, I can reproduce the error and that it has been carried forward to the product team :-(

Greetings,

    Greg,

Nope, none of those are correct and that is why I don't get your e-mails. Also I cannot send you a note because the forum server has removed your e-mail to protect your privacy.

I think the issue is understanding what "redundancy" means. Redundant basically means "excessive" or more than necessary. Take a careful look at my address and then compare it with a normal e-mail address. My encoded address contains two redundant pieces of information which must be removed.

I am not trying to play games. I encode my e-mail to prevent automated bots from grabbing my address and getting it unto spam lists. I'm sorry you are having so much trouble contacting me but this is how it has to be.

I think you need to remove the "at" and the "dot" which are often added in publict forums to protect people's emails.

I have tried to send again (I havent recieved a delivery failure).  I have tried sending to jensenljat @ fastmail.dotfm' and jensenljat @ fastmaildot.fm as well as 'jensenljat @ fastmail.fm'.  Im assuming one of these addresses is correct.  Otherwise send an email to me at ******@blueyonder.co.uk and I will reply with the file.

    Thanks

    Greg

    Greg,

My browser says you posted "file resent" 7 hours ago. Unless the internet is extremely slow today I assume I would have received your file by now, but still nothing.

For whatever reason a few people have trouble deciphering my e-mail address. Look at it carefully and make sure you are sending to the right place. Take note that it is not a dot com or dot net address.

And one more thing, the 7th character in my e-mail is an alpha, not a numeric.

    John
