IMAP is not allowing the email to flow from Spectrum.net to Outlook on my iphone since Spectrum eliminated the webmail portal this past week.

Sorry to hear that. Here are the steps I went through: In new Outlook, select "Add Account." Enter your spectrum email account. Select "Continue." On the password screen, choose "select provider." Then select "POP", enter pw and continue. Hope this helps you.

I believe if you look on the tabs at the top, there is an Item called Classic or Classic Outlook. If its not on the main tabs, it may be under the View tab. I apologize if that is not the case, Its been a while since I changed it. In my process I was trying solutions online, uninstalling and reinstalling old and new versions and actually found it by chance. Goggle it if that is not the case.

    Good luck.

Just to bolster this, I performed the exact same process and my RR email works again.

Hopefully you will find the same success.

I'm glad that works for some people, but IMAP has much more functionally such as leaving the mail at the Spectrum Server and being able to send/receive mail at multiple client devices. I prefer to stick to IMAP and the Classic Outlook. Its a shame that no one at Spectrum is concerned about this, even if the problem is caused by Micro Soft, we are paying them for the mail service. Another issue is the total lack of diagnostic information and the help people acting like they can help (telling me to reset my modem, reinstall outlook, and clear my cache). They MUST by now have open complaints about this.

At least Classic Outlook allows me to click on a send/receive button, as opposed to New Outlook dropping that feature.

I'm with you on IMAP - if I delete the message on my local client, it deletes it from the server - much better than POP - which typically leaves a copy of the message there unless you change settings to remove upon deletion and such - like many I'm in the process to migrate away form Spectrum to something non-ISP related...this was the last straw and I should have done it a while ago. Glad they pushed me out lol...

Emails and phone numbers - everything's tied to them now - crazy.
