IMAP is not working now that Spectrum.net has eliminated the webmail access. They say it is a Microsoft problem.

IMAP is not allowing the email to flow from Spectrum.net to Outlook on my iphone since Spectrum eliminated the webmail portal this past week.

    Hi. Had issue today not able to login under new outlook. Contacted spectrum support and while waiting for answer, I tried changing it to POP instead of IMAP and it worked. For some reason IMAP no longer works under new outlook. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the update. I'm planning on sticking with Outlook Classic. I like the interface better.

    With all the hassles I went through to get Outlook working again, I'd rather not invest any more time trying to get new Outlook working.

    Thanks again for your input. Hopefully it might help someone else looking at this post.

    Yes; I hope so. Thank you. I tried removing my roadrunner email and re-installed it. It came back in POP, but I was still not getting emails. I tried it again a day later and now it will not accept my password. I am considering moving to Google Chrome for mail and getting out of MS Outlook.

    Just tried switching to POP, but it did not work for me. The only way I can now get my spectrum email is via their internet web site "Check E-Mail" link at Spectrum.net. This would be alright except it is pretty slow.

    I have read that they are no longer issuing email addresses to new customers because they are getting out of the email business. I'm starting to transition everything over to Gmail.
