IMAP is not allowing the email to flow from Spectrum.net to Outlook on my iphone since Spectrum eliminated the webmail portal this past week.

I already use my Gmail app to get my Spectrum email. No reason to involve Outlook at all. I'm done with Outlook and have uninstalled it on all my devices.

True, but Outlook for me is a much better platform by integrating other Microsoft apps.

In response to others for spectrum email, it was verified by spectrum, that new customers will NOT be issued email accounts, so they are phasing out email. Again, shame! Spectrum only protecting shareholders, not the ones paying the bills!

I can only give you my experience. Since I had my issues, I found the following:

Spectrum's webmail url is back up and running https://webmail.spectrum.net/.

I reverted back to Outlook Classic email.

I stayed on IMAP and kept the initial settings I had before I tried to use the new outlook:

You can set up Spectrum email using Outlook, Apple email or other third-party applications on your mobile devices, including mobile phones and laptops.

To get started, make sure you have:

    • Username: Your full Spectrum-provided email address
    • Password: Your Spectrum-provided email password
    • SSL: On
    • Protocol: IMAP
    • Port: 993
    • Port: 587
    • Requires Authentication: Yes, or checked

You'll also need to enter your Incoming Email Server and Outgoing Email Server. The server that allows you to send mail is the outgoing or SMTP server. The server that lets you receive mail is referred to as an incoming, POP or Mail server. Those will vary based on your domain which is the part of your email address that follows the @ symbol, such as charter.net. Find your domain name below to learn your server settings:

Spectrum Business customers with an email address ending in @bresnan.net should refer to a recent email notification from us detailing important changes, including how to save email and contacts in advance of the changes occurring on March 6. Questions? Call (800) 314-7195.

Server Settings Based on Domain (@example.com)

TWC.com and any domain ending in .rr.com not covered above

    • Incoming Email Server: mail.twc.com
    • Outgoing Email Server: mail.twc.com

    From <https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/mobile-email-setup?cid=eml_ehh_782>

To date I have had no issues.

Bottom line, new is not necessarily better. If it's not broke, don't fix it (especially if the support is not there).

I downgraded from Windows 11 to Windows 10. Outlook will NOT accept my credentials. Just hung up with Spectrum and was told that I have entered all the server settings correctly. There's an SMTP password box that I cannot change, and have no idea what that is. Might that be the problem? The agent I spoke with also told me it's an Outlook issue. Does anyone have a fix, or advice? The webmail is a pain in the neck to use :(
