IMAP is not working now that Spectrum.net has eliminated the webmail access. They say it is a Microsoft problem.

Can't change back to the old Outlook...at least I can't. I just tried again and it will not allow it.

As far as changing over to Gmail, I already have a gmail account that I use for some things, so I will now just painstakingly update my profile on every site and app I use to reflect the gmail address. I plan on doing this one at a time just as I am using the site/app. I'll continue to check the Spectrum web mail page for new emails in the mean time. Sucks...

Yes; I have found the Spectrum webmail for my roadrunner account to be slow in delivery and removal - like old times.

What is the best process for changing from New Outlook to old outlook or to Google?

Just tried switching to POP, but it did not work for me. The only way I can now get my spectrum email is via their internet web site "Check E-Mail" link at Spectrum.net. This would be alright except it is pretty slow.

I have read that they are no longer issuing email addresses to new customers because they are getting out of the email business. I'm starting to transition everything over to Gmail.

Yes; I hope so. Thank you. I tried removing my roadrunner email and re-installed it. It came back in POP, but I was still not getting emails. I tried it again a day later and now it will not accept my password. I am considering moving to Google Chrome for mail and getting out of MS Outlook.
