Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Thank you! It worked for me too! Had to use POP as IMAP stopped working like as others reported.

IMAP is not allowing the email to flow from Spectrum.net to Outlook on my iphone since Spectrum eliminated the webmail portal this past week.

Thank you. That may be my result. I will try a few others per suggestions here and see what works or not.
Just addressing several points from the last several messages...
Even using IMAP, deleting a message in Outlook would not delete messages off the Spectrum server. I had to manually go onto the Spectrum email web page and perform a mass cleanup 100 emails at a time every week. Spectrum email is an utter joke in this day and age. I have contacted them many times over the years and they are absolutely clueless.
New outlook does have a send/receive function now - it is under the view menu option and is called "sync."
Deleting my email account and re-setting it back up in either new or classic Outlook using POP still does not work for me.
I have uninstalled Outlook from my PC - good riddens I say. Also in the process of phasing out my roadrunner email account and transitioning over to Gmail.
I'm with you on IMAP - if I delete the message on my local client, it deletes it from the server - much better than POP - which typically leaves a copy of the message there unless you change settings to remove upon deletion and such - like many I'm in the process to migrate away form Spectrum to something non-ISP related...this was the last straw and I should have done it a while ago. Glad they pushed me out lol...
Emails and phone numbers - everything's tied to them now - crazy.
I'm glad that works for some people, but IMAP has much more functionally such as leaving the mail at the Spectrum Server and being able to send/receive mail at multiple client devices. I prefer to stick to IMAP and the Classic Outlook. Its a shame that no one at Spectrum is concerned about this, even if the problem is caused by Micro Soft, we are paying them for the mail service. Another issue is the total lack of diagnostic information and the help people acting like they can help (telling me to reset my modem, reinstall outlook, and clear my cache). They MUST by now have open complaints about this.
At least Classic Outlook allows me to click on a send/receive button, as opposed to New Outlook dropping that feature.
