IMAP is not allowing the email to flow from Spectrum.net to Outlook on my iphone since Spectrum eliminated the webmail portal this past week.

Look at the very bottom of the screen on the right. It will either state "connected" or "working offline". Oddly when I click send/receive and I am offline I do not get an error which is poor usability.
I have decided to stick with Classic Outlook, since no one appears to have an answer as to why New Outlook is failing to connect for me.
Can you be more specific as to where you go to check the Offline status? In my Outlook settings I went to Offline & tried it by moving the toggle both ways but nothing changed. You said in very little print it stated you were working offline. Wondering where to look for that.
I stopped receiving emails 3 days ago on Outlook but was still getting them on Spectrum which is my internet provider. I had this problem several years ago and it was because my Spectrum mailbox was full. This was not the case this time. I called Spectrum twice and spoke over an hour to two different people and went over several procedures; then, I looked up several Microsoft recommendations. I was so frustrated at the end of it all that I called my son who is very good with computers. He walked through me several steps, including the different ports to see if they were compatible (same as the reps did) and we went through some other steps. Then he asked me to check to see if I was working "Offline". I said I never do. There on the very bottom of my Outlook account in very little print it said I was working offline. Somehow, I accidently clicked that button but neither one of the two reps asked me to check that. I unclicked it and suddenly I received all my previous emails. Hurray for my wonderful son. Posting this in case there are some "non-techy" people like me around.
Any new update as to why the IMAP is not working now that Spectrum has eliminated the webmail access? I am trying to use the new Outlook on my desktop & was getting email until Sunday & then nothing since.
