UPDATE 28Apr2025: I renewed and changed my subscription to Microsoft Personal Classic and that *seemed* to eliminate Co-Pilot. For how long? Who knows? But at least now its no longer showing up on my emails. Thank you to everyone who shared my frustrations and who offered suggestions.

How do I remove Copilot from my Outlook email (and all other applications for that matter)? I have a 5 year old MacBook Pro. I use Outlook (Hotmail account) and all of a sudden CoPilot has appeared when I start writing or replying to emails. I do NOT want it. I do NOT need it. It is VERY distracting and I want to disable and/or remove it. Any advice would be most appreciated. I tried searching online but could not find a suitable answer. Thank you.

I do not know if I have the New or Legacy Outlook.

I went to the upper right side of my outlook email clicked the down arrow and clicked it off. Prior to that I went to the uninstall programs feature on my computer and uninstalled it.

This seems to be a recent change to be able to do this.

Please add the Share Button which shows up in Excel similar to the Copilot in Outlook.

I don't want to see this Share Button in the Excel document I am working on.

    I do not use OneDrive.

This constant OneDrive reminder servers only to remind me that I will never ever use OneDrive.

Can you please tell me who is responsible for making these buttons show up without my permission and not allow me to remove them?

I'd like to talk to this persons supervisor and see what can be done to get this addressed.

    Firefox is my default browser.

    I also heavily use Brave.

    Sometimes Opera....

When I find Edge cutting in, I usually cut the address out and paste it in Firefox or Brave.

I just don't like Microsoft taking away my choice on my computer using the software that I purchased.
