UPDATE 28Apr2025: I renewed and changed my subscription to Microsoft Personal Classic and that *seemed* to eliminate Co-Pilot. For how long? Who knows? But at least now its no longer showing up on my emails. Thank you to everyone who shared my frustrations and who offered suggestions.

How do I remove Copilot from my Outlook email (and all other applications for that matter)? I have a 5 year old MacBook Pro. I use Outlook (Hotmail account) and all of a sudden CoPilot has appeared when I start writing or replying to emails. I do NOT want it. I do NOT need it. It is VERY distracting and I want to disable and/or remove it. Any advice would be most appreciated. I tried searching online but could not find a suitable answer. Thank you.

I do not know if I have the New or Legacy Outlook.

Not yet for me. using web owa mail, aka hotmail.

Copilot is dedicating ll over my email. I hate it so much. This has caused recent good experiences with horrific experiences. As soon as I find a reasonable replacement, I'll never come back. You did not get permission to use my data for an AI? I want it disabled asap. Thieves, vultures, bloodsuckers. I do not like having to jump mouse to keyboard, scroll this way, then that away. The summaries suck,. The offered help sucks. Not only are they completely inappropriate, they make it sound like I am offering sex. I want it gone. Just imagine if a little girl offers sex by mistake from copilot? Disgusting. I am not offering sex. Perverts.

EVERYONE is correct! Have you ever actually read what copilot translates to? And I do mean translate. It translates to nothing near the meaning of the original whatever (outlook, word etc.)

I do not want AI in my life. And right now, there is no such thing as AI. Just a term for marketing a useless feature.....

It has all become absurdly complicated; something else changes every day. USB drives have vanished - apparently a problem Microsoft is aware of and doing nothing to correct. And with each change, everything becomes slower, and slower and . . . It truly is getting to the point where Microsoft needs to be replaced.
