new outlook not syncing with gmail, no error message

My outlook stop receiving emails nor can I send emails from outlook. There is no error message from Outlook stating why it's not syncing.

I've checked gmail acct, IMAP is enabled.

I've logged out of Outlook and re-link my gmail acct to outlook, didn't work.

I've uninstalled the new Outlook and set everything up, still didn't work.

This is the new Outlook version that i'm working with. It stopped working yesterday at 3:30pm. Everything was working fine then suddenly I couldn't send an email then noticed no new emails were coming in.

    I am also having the same sudden issue. Part way through the day yesterday my Outlook stopped receiving email from my Gmail account. My account:

    Microsoft Outlook Version: 1.2025.205.100 (Production)

    Client Version: 20250131002.12

    WebView2 Version: 132.0.2957.140

    Session ID: d476b45f-4a66-49b8-9e6a-c95da6673fb0

    What else is needed to identify and correct this?

    When is MicroSoft going to fix this? I now receive most of my emails from gmail account, but still cannot send.

    I had the same issue, I worked through the problem with MS tech support and ultimately got my gmail to sync again, but only by reverting to Legacy Outlook. That worked for a day or so then stopped syncing again. It's working for the moment, but I don't expect it will continue working properly, especially after I shut down the laptop.

    I'm now searching for a good mail program with the good features of Outlook but without the problems. Any suggestions?

    Having same problem - Win 10 New Outlook version 1.2025.129.300 (Production) & version 1.2025.205.100(Production) stopped receiving/sending emails Feb 5. No error messages.

    This happened to me also, reached out to MS support. I had to delete the affected account; then go into security settings using web access for that account, created "app password" THEN re-added the affect account back into Outlook using the "new" app PW (not my usual PW) and worked!
