How can I disable Copilot completely in my Outlook WEB interface?

With all due respect, I don't think I should have to downgrade my subscription in order to block a feature I don't like and never asked to have included. Microsoft needs to fix its platform to make it possible to block AI. I have enough experience with AI at work to know how untrustworthy it is, and how low-quality its products are. I'll never use it for email or anything else I do on Microsoft platforms.

I am terrified of deleting and starting again because I have nearly 1TB of stuff stored on my OneDrive. I am dyslexic and absolutely cannot cope with Copilot interferring in EVERYTHING I do. It's making my life unworkable. I cannot begin to express how much I HATE Microsoft now and how intrusive and invasive I have found this. How dare they foist this absolute *** on us. For the love of all the is good in this world give us an "off" switch so we can get rid of it for good.

It's pretty simple really - provide an option to disable Copilot from the UI. Period.

The fact that it's placing a highly distracting and somewhat "Needy" [Draft With Copilot] in front of your cursor while trying to write an email is highly unprofessional.

Honestly I'll just switch to Gmail or Zoho mail if you don't change this soon and it looks like others will too.

Yes it is, "Operation Paperclip" resurrected. Please, if you are listening, we do not comply to your demands and will not pay $129 or $30 more for nuisance or parasitic applications, like throwing a wheelchair in front of healthy people and hoping that they will pay for the "convenience."

This new AI is like the old horse and buggy. We don't want it or need it, especially on the WEB Outlook application.

By the way, the option for having a subscription without AI is removed and not available once you finish cancellation.

That's another punch in the right eye and hours to waste on the phone with customer service in India, just to get the service that we already paid for, continued after the old subscription expires, October 2025 in my case.

They are not offering any option without AI next year, only in the pop up immediately after you request cancellation, need to contact my lawyer to go after these guys, a classic bait and switch operation.

This is really a terrible direction Microsoft is going to because its a terrible solution !!!

Thinking of ending my Family account because Microsoft is also refusing to install Office on a little older Macbook Pro with still INTEL I7
