I’m having the same issue as everyone else I cannot login to my email. I’ve tried using different devices, different browsers, everything. I’m getting frustrated I need to access my emails for work. How do I fix this problem and why is it happening?

I was using the Oulook APP and my email server is Yahoo. I posted screenshots of my issue that falls on page three of this thread of people having issues. I just directly used Yahoo to check my emails until yesterday, I tried using Outlook and noticed the toggle to switch back to the classic version and was able to login and begin receiving emails again. Everything is working and I think I will stick with the classic. Only downside was my contacts were gone.

Sorry I am confused now. Outlook APP is the same thing as Classic Outlook. So what do you mean that you switched from APP to Classic? What do you mean by /APP does not work/ but /Classic works/?

By APP do you mean "New Outlook" which is browser based and is not an app (downloaded program)?

Or by APP do you mean the Office365 version (Outlook 2024?) and that you switched to a previous version (Outlook 2021 or Outlook 2016)? In this case I believe that "Classic Outlook" refers to all versions of Outlook that are downloaded programs (O365 or prior) and which are not the browser based (New) outlook.

In other words, there are only 2 classes of Outlooks. New Outlook which is browser based, and Classic Outlook which is an app (downloaded program).

    Yes the Office365 version

I don't think this answer above will help everyone since we all don't use gmail. I was able to get my email back up by switching back to classic. I did loose all my contacts, but the emails and separate folders were all there once it downloaded them.

Strange. Google turned off "less secure" access to Gmail on 5/1/25. If you are not using Gmail, how is it that you lost access at the same time?

What app and what email server are you using?

I don't think New Outlook accessing Gmail has been affected with this Google change.

If so, then you must have a problem unrelated to the Google change on 5/1/25. I think this thread is for Google?

What app and what email server are you using on your computer?

Note: The Microsoft Support people on this forum are generally useless. They never productively or correctly reply to questions and just keep you waiting. All they do is to reply that they need more information and screenshots. You supply this information and they never get back to you.

One even told me to send a screenshot by private message. But there is no way to send private messages on this forum.

This forum seems to be a scam, and the support staff are just bots.
