I'm a dinosaur who still uses Hotmail.com via web-based Outlook.com. Now every time I reply to a message, I get a ""Try Draft with Copilot" message/link in it. I never want to use Copilot for anything, but this won't go away. How can I turn permanently off this any other Copliot promot in Outlook?

I have the same issues with my browser-based Outlook; I also have an MS 365 individual subscription.
Please let us turn all Copilot features off.
Perhaps Microsoft should ask Copilot how to turn itself off in outlook.com!
I echo all the other responses here: I do not want or need AI help in writing an email. I could turn off Copilot in MS Word--why not in Outlook.com? I use both via a Microsoft 365 subscription.
OK I've got to the bottom of this. It's a bug.
First, again, the original post was about the free webmail, outlook.live.com NOT outlook.office.com.
Accessing it via the outlook android app shows how it supposed to work - when you start a new email there's a prompt in the text field asking if you would like copilot to draft the email for you.
Even that is intrusive and annoying and should be possible to turn off.
However when accessing via the web client it is broken. It treats every single new line as starting a blank email, so the prompt re-appears every time you press enter.
This bug needs to be urgently fixed, then followed by the addition of a setting to turn the copilot prompt off completely, in the same way as the promised upcoming office365 patch.
I agree with all of the others who have complained about the ridiculous "Try Draft with Copilot" message. It is extremely annoying. I know what I want to write - I don't need Microsoft to write anything for me. Like others, I have a Microsoft 365 account.
I have had this email account for over 20 years, but this AI intrusiveness will force me to look at other options for email.
Please fix this now!!
Feature? This is an UTTER ANNOYANCE!
I don't want Copilot. Stop trying to come up with uses for AI. So far I haven't seen anything helpful in this space. (I do use it when I write code, but that's my choice. I hate that you're shoving it in my face! What next, pay you in bit coin?
I do pay for Microsoft 365, but my hotmail is legacy.
I don't know who made this "feature" decision that cannot be turned off, but it doesn't seem like it was suggested by a human.
