How do I permanently turn off Copilot prompts in my Outlook.com webmail messages?

Please let your higher ups know that people do not like this annoying prompt. Microsoft says it is always trying to make functionality better for the consumer, well they have really missed the mark if they think that having advertising dropped in every time that the enter key is pressed will win hearts and minds. I will, now on principle, use ChatGTP to format e-mails and NEVER use CoPilot.

I cannot believe that you, Microsoft, are forcing this INCREDIBLY annoying feature on all of us. I to am paying for O365 and I WANT TO GET RID OF IT. NOW please. But I guess it is time to say goodbye finally to the hotmail/outlook account. It is full of spam anyway

My own take on this is, first of all this is not only a web client thing as some have been emphaizing, it can also be what's best described as "New Outlook", which, I guess is an "app" on a PC workstation, which, in fact, might have MS Edge tech as its basis. I feel like people are going overboard when they insist the DEFAULT should be this prompt is turned off. OF COURSE Microsoft is going to want to herald the feature and try to get people to try it. What I think is reasonable is an EASY way to opt to turn it off in settings. Not having a way to turn it off is what is utterly bizarre. I've been using Microsoft products since the 1980's. This is bizarre. I'm a Microsoft partisan and I will continue to use Office and many many Microsoft offerings -- but, do better Microsoft. Resolve this and notify the user base when it is resolved.

I've been a long-time user of Outlook.live.com, but this is probably the impetus needed to ditch my MS account entirely. Trying to view an email on my laptop these days is very frustrating as the contents of the email take a backseat to the layers of horizontal bars that push the actual reason I'm on the webpage almost off the page, while MS gives me such unuseful horizontal bars such as an oversized SUBJECT LINE bar that inexplicably puts an 'X', arrows <> for navigation on a separate line, and then the actual subject line below that.

Next up is the aforementioned "Summary by Copilot" prompt bar I have zero interest in using on 95% of my emails. There's already a Copilot button displayed within easy reach, so why screw my viewing experience over with more Copilot nonsense?

Ah, fudge! Yet another bar offering me the ability to unsubscribe from the email, a handholding gesture I don't need for, again, probably 95% of the email I'm desperately trying to get a glimpse of under all these bars.

So annoying! It'll be a huge lift, but I'm going to ditch Outlook email as my main email and go with another provider.
