Dunners, you can disable it on Word and other apps but not on Outlook. There is literally no way to remove it from email right now, unless MS make one.

AGREE - It is extremely annoying and takes twice as long to write an email with that try copilot suggestion popping up every single line. Hopefully they will listen to all of this feedback and allow users to turn it on or turn it off globally for all of their emails. I don't mind having it as a menu option if someone wants to use it, but please, please, please allow users to turn it off, and not have to do so for every single email, but globally.

Ironically I received a promotional email today saying "Maximise your time with Copilot in Microsoft 365 this new year!" It is actually the opposite for many of us.
