How do I permanently turn off Copilot prompts in my Outlook.com webmail messages?

Adding my voice to the list of people who find this "feature" incredibly irritating, and I want it to go away.

However, I did find that I could remove it by using the uBlock extension on the Edge browser and adding the following to my filters under settings, as was suggested earlier in this thread:

• outlook.live.com##.vaN5Q.wekzh.r7GQl
• outlook.live.com##.fui-PopoverSurface

That said, I should not have to use a third party extension to make a paid subscription usable.

Did anyone find a way to disable this? I can't find an obvious answer in the replies. This is an extreme annoyance, even in the desktop installed outlook client (which I'm guessing is little more than a web wrapper?).

The prompt appears repeatedly on every single line of a reply and it's an utter distration and pain. The number of times I've switched windows to check something for my reply on to click back and inadvertantly hit the link, launching copilots "innovation" to much annoyance.

Surely this has to be a bug though. Showing the prompt once when the feature initially launched then leaving it to sit in the top icon bar alongside formatting, etc would be fair enough. Having it appear on every single new line is frustrating overkill that has me rooting round for my old office installation discs.

I completely agree, the Copilot prompt is intrusive, distracting and annoying, and obviously there should be a simple way to opt-out of it. The fact that there isn't is outrageous. How could anyone at MS possibly think that this would be okay? This is essentially a pop-up advertisement that won't go away. I pay a subscription for Micosoft 365, there's no way that this kind of thing is acceptable. Is it even legal? Surely we have statutory rights as paying customers?

I absolutely , 100 percent agree. What part of the earth did Microsoft even try to test this feature out. It gets in your way when your typing. There is a button on the top right of the that would allow me to use CoPilot when I want to. Thats good enough. In fact I used it to get here to only find more run around and excuses. Very disappointing roll out process. Hope everyone voices their opinion all over the web. If I find an answer , will let everyone know.

I'm a tech dunce. Is this Origin Script an option a plugin that can be added to my browser to delete the banner? Or everything Copilot?
