How do I permanently turn off Copilot prompts in my Outlook.com webmail messages?

I'm a dinosaur who still uses Hotmail.com via web-based Outlook.com. Now every time I reply to a message, I get a ""Try Draft with Copilot" message/link in it. I never want to use Copilot for anything, but this won't go away. How can I turn permanently off this any other Copliot promot in Outlook?

    You can't remove it in either version of Outlook..

    Solution for current MS365 customers, courtesy of Dwight Silverman, tech columnist at the Houston Chronicle (******@outlook.com):

    For those customers on MS365 plans who would prefer not to pay more for something they won’t use, here’s how to revert to the non-Copilot plan and the non-Copilot price. Sign in to your Microsoft account on the web, then click Subscriptions. There, you will see your MS365 account and what you’re currently paying for it. Click on Manage, then click Cancel Subscription. To keep you around, Microsoft will offer other plans, including MS 365 Personal or Family with the word “Classic” added. That’s what you had before, sans Copilot.Oystryk told me there are caveats. Switching to classic is only for current subscribers; newcomers to MS365 can’t get the Copilot-free plans. And if there are any other non-Copilot updates or enhancements, classic subscribers won’t have access to them.

    Thanks. When I went to the site to do that, it says that the change won't take place until my renewal date. To get rid of Copilot immediately, do I actually need to fully unsubscribe and start over again? I don't even mind paying the extra for the rest of my current subscription term. I just want the Copilot turned off when I'm writing emails!!!

    Indeed - I did that and it's reverted to the old price. I only knew that this could be done via the cancel option from looking on other forums. The way this whole "upgrade" has been handled makes Microsoft look decidedly manipulative - they've forced this junk on everyone without being asked, and without any clear ways to turn it off, then increased the price and not made it clear that you can opt out of the junk and stick at the previous price.

    This intrusive "copilot" message in the web version of Outlook is appalling and has driven me mad in the few days since you released it. I do not need help writing an email - or reading - and if i did, i'd use the copilot app (that i have, and really like). AI is a good tool, sometimes useful. It's also not me, not human, and a dreadful source of CO2. Just. Stop. it.

    Please.

    (And you've just whacked up my 365 subscription, dammit! i'm paying more for features I hate!)
