How do I TURN OFF the "Summary by Copilot banner that appears on every single email I receive in outlook?

I may, maybe once a year when tagged into a super long email thread try to get a summary... but 99.99% of the time I will never want to use this, as such the banner is annoying and consumes lots of valuable space where I could render my email.

How can I turn this off? or hide it by default?

Wait, who is generating spam? Who is making it harder to post workarounds?

I posted the original question and am also tired of all the solutions that don't solve the problem. But I don't see how to delete the question or close the thread. So now I'm disgusted with both copilot and the Microsoft Community.

I'm going to send this reply in hopes someone can help me delete the question. Then in a couple days I'm going to uncheck the box that says "notify me when someone responds to this post" and be done with it.

At this point , all you are doing is generating spam. It's obvious that the people making the decisions aren't listening

    Real options

1). Use Firefox, install ublock origin ad blocker. Have ublock origin delete the copilot elements from the web based outlook app. You used to be able to do this in chrome untill Google disabled ad blockers in chrome.

2). Use Gmail. Just add your Microsoft account to Gmail. This is what I do on my phone

I understand your frustration, but all you are doing is making it harder to post constructive workarounds and for others to follow this thread

The usual FEATURE that does not comply with the ability to turn off on the Office 365, will the children at Microsoft programming dept, do a proper course on software development BEFORE inflicting their game on the user community
