How do I TURN OFF the "Summary by Copilot banner that appears on every single email I receive in outlook?

I may, maybe once a year when tagged into a super long email thread try to get a summary... but 99.99% of the time I will never want to use this, as such the banner is annoying and consumes lots of valuable space where I could render my email.

How can I turn this off? or hide it by default?

This forced role-out of copilot is terrible. I have used MS services for many years. I will be cancelling all MS services.

Is that answer some sort of joke? I log in to admin and all it gives is an option for dark mode, no org settings nothing. Would be nice if Microsoft could at least give proper instructions for their annoying products.

I see it is gone if you go to settings, general, privacy and data, privacy settings, and turn off "Turn on experiences that analyze your content", Why couldn't they just say, "Turn off Copilot"?

for people who are using the adblocker named uBlock, open the adblocker gui and there are; element picker and element zapper.

select the summarize by copilot section (sometimes you have to select by selecting more elements (text, logo, bannner separately) because otherwise it will reappear).

whenever the website loads, the picekd or zapped elements will be filtered out on a html level. i know it is unacceptable and even more annoying if you pay for office 365, but hey, i got rid of the copilot ****.
