How do I TURN OFF the "Summary by Copilot banner that appears on every single email I receive in outlook?

I may, maybe once a year when tagged into a super long email thread try to get a summary... but 99.99% of the time I will never want to use this, as such the banner is annoying and consumes lots of valuable space where I could render my email.

How can I turn this off? or hide it by default?

    First of all, this does not work. Secondly it does not relate to the question but is completely irrelevant. The Summary by Copilot takes up too much screen space on a laptop which is what many people use nowadays. There should be a simple way like a toggle on and off button to get rid of this. I never use it and probably never will.

    Get your <expletive deleted> spyware off my computer!

    I was able to unistall the Copilot apps you 'gifted' to me, but the unwelcome monstrosities leave their claw marks elsewhere in programs that I need.

    In no way shape or form do I need need your spyware's 'help' to read my own email.

    The summary bar goes or Outlook does. Pick.

    When people see how easy it is to switch to Linux and still have access to what they need, you guys are not gonna have a good time of it. This kind of **** will help push people away from M$ products. Especially when they find out how much cheaper it is to not get spied on.

    Yes, tis an issue in that case. Problem there is MS is unlikely to listen, if they think it is needed you are going to get it no matter your preference.

    As a side note, I have since found the Windows Mail app is also being discontinued, and you are forced to use Outlook. So that too has been removed from my system.

    So I am now using Thunderbird again - I gotta say, it is real nice to be free of the fluff in Outlook.
