How to remove the unverified sender message?

Hi,

I keep getting an 'unverified sender' message in Outlook (desktop and web app). I've added the address to 'trusted sender' and I've whitelisted the domain but still keep getting it.

The sender is 'trusted' and a reputable domain.

Is there anything else I can do on my side or is it down to the sender?

Many thanks,

Charlie

You lack the technological ability to understand what this feature is and how it is setup. This feature is required globally by all email providers as apart of a new standard to prevent cyber attacks.

This is the only way forward. Do not decry something you find annoying simply because you do not understand.

It sucks because whoever manages your Email domain screwed it up.

This in not merely annoying, this is noise, it makes reading inboxes harder cluttering them with inaccurate information for the recipient.

It is not the only way forward either, Outlook could send an email back to the sender letting them know their issue. AND give them very specific instructions to fix it. Put the responsibility and annoyance on those who have the power to fix it.

I'm more than willing to guess you get angry about other non-IT issues and that you have no control over but deal with the repercussions.

Well said! Thank you for your comment. I would say many of us are not IT formally trained and are not a part of that profession. So even if the feature is a part of a new standard for cybersecurity, Microsoft could allow for a more user friendly option. Apart from that I have nothing else to decry.
