This is the worst update. I have so many email addresses. For work, personal, parents I care for. I can't link to one mailbox, I have to check each and every one. You get no notification. And to make matters worse, they now make it harder to switch back. You should be entitled to choose which app we prefer, not forced upon us!
I have tried and tried to like it, but it just doesn't work for me. Why wouldn't you take ALL the features and simply add even better ones. I can't get one notification for an email received, I have to click on each email address, go to the inbox and then see. It is so time consuming! Surely SOMEONE is listening to our peeves!

Same here! It is MISERABLE!!!! I almost have to hire a private detective just to FIND common icons!!! The menu bar has been so oversimplified that it is no longer useable. Microsoft - you need to fire these people.
Microsoft just need to STOP and leave Outlook as it is. Simple.
To this reply and others: spot on! Having worked with MSFT on and off for over 25 years, I cannot fathom how this has gotten to where it has. Scott G and co., get this fixed so none of us have to (OMG, perish the thought) move to Google Docs or other platforms :(
I removed and added back my Office Account and the old outlook was gone. MS has it set up so NEW OUTLOOK harasses you to join. Only New Outlook came up.
How do I get back to the old outlook? NOW!
Whoever came up with the New Outlook that does not work well, notification and sound issues, should be FIRED!
I agree with a lot of the comments that you make, although we use the good old traditional Outlook for different reasons. But the new Outlook I feel as though I have travelled back in time by at least 15 years! Microsoft, just get rid of this New Outlook and STOP trying to force it on us please. So many people I know absolutely hate it. No matter what additions you make to it, it will never be as good. Sometimes change is a good thing....but there are times when it really isn't.
