I hate the New Outlook

This is the worst update. I have so many email addresses. For work, personal, parents I care for. I can't link to one mailbox, I have to check each and every one. You get no notification. And to make matters worse, they now make it harder to switch back. You should be entitled to choose which app we prefer, not forced upon us!

I have tried and tried to like it, but it just doesn't work for me. Why wouldn't you take ALL the features and simply add even better ones. I can't get one notification for an email received, I have to click on each email address, go to the inbox and then see. It is so time consuming! Surely SOMEONE is listening to our peeves!

I DO NOT LIKE the new outlook format. There was nothing wrong with the old one. Why the heck do developers feel like they have to keep changing things when there is absolutely NO reason to change?! This new outlook is not as functional as the classic look. Why do you guys continue to defy the old maxim, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"?? It is my strong perfrence to use the classic outlook for a few reasons. The ONLY reason that I find myself using it (FOR NOW) is that I can add my gmail address into it.....but I'm not sure I'm going to keep using this new version.

I wish to revert to the classic outlook, however, I am very disappointed that the classic outlook will not accept my gmail address anymore. How very frustrating!! If I use the classic outlook, I need to have multiple screens open in order to view my gmail email, and my outlook email. This is NOT more efficient or better. Good grief, mates. You're the experts. Figure out a way to allow me to add my gmail accounts into the Classic Outlook!!!

In the classic outlook, I appreciated having my multiple emails (outlook, gmail, icloud) accessible on the left-hand side of the screen. I was quickly able to look at the inboxes for each email. It served as a "grand central" station for all my emails.

As a long-time Outlook user, I've been trying to adapt to the recent update, but I'm unfortunately unable to. This update significantly hinders usability and is arguably one of the worst changes I've encountered.

I believe the Outlook team should seriously consider replacing the current UX Product Manager with someone who has extensive experience using Outlook themselves.

Its the worse update in the history of Microsoft, apart that is from Windows Metro.

Microsoft need to pack their ego away and go back to the drawing board. The "old" outlook is fine and the new outlook brings nothing of real benefit to the users of the admins. Dump it.

Same!!! I resisted as long as I could, but then their hindrances became too cumbersome when having to switch to old Outlook. I can't stand it! I hate that you can't just open it and see if there is unopened email in each account with out clicking on each account. I can't get links to open without right clicking on them and then clicking "open link." I really don't like that attachments don't open in the default program, you have to link open with. So annoying and a giant waste of time!

[removed] I STILL hate the new outlook, even more than ever.

It's been heartening to me, to read your agreements and addendums to my original rant.

My boss is a brilliant young (ok, younger than me) blind guy, who uses a program called JAWS screen reader.

Whenever microsoft forces their misbegotten "updates" on users - options in Outlook, Word and Excel are no longer accessible to him.

The uber-smart technicians at Freedom Scientific (JAWS) can't keep up with microsoft malfunctioning updates.

As soon as Freedom Scientific can figure out workarounds, to make microsoft disabled-accessible, MS issues another mandatory update.

    ****??

Yes, I am still [removed COC violation] at microsoft (references in this message NOT capitalized, because that might deem respect).

Especially when their "updates" are forced, with NO consideration of the disabled community.
