How can I get spam emails from these senders to stop? They are in the junk folder, so rules don't work.

This is because Microsoft is preview @ and would lose money from advertisers. Contact the FEDS.

I am seriously thinking of getting rid of my outlook account and I would have already if I didn't have so much tied to it.

The only workaround I have, is ridiculous but it works for me better than manually going through and deleting.

The problem is spam/junk folder.. MS don't let us not use it.

Creating a rule is fairly easy but doesn't apply in the junk folder

So.. every day I drag about 60 emails out of the junk folder and have to mark them as SAFE ! Just so they don't go in spam in future. Obviously many still go in there as new addresses are used every time

Once they are in (and messing up) my inbox, I then run a rule that deletes all emails where the Sender Email Contains preview@

If you have problems just letting it accept preview@ , then you could possibly do it in message header too?

Over the past week, this has directed more and more emails directly to deletion but still lots go into junk first.

If we could just turn off Junk folder, this rule would solve most of the problem

Thanks for the suggestion however, the real solution would be for Microsoft to provide Outlook users with a fix. I am receiving close to 100 Preview@*** e mails a day and like you, I am considering throwing the towel in. A simple rule blocking or directing them to "trash" would solve the problem and eliminate the frustration having to deal with sorting through "junk" to be sure legitimate emails have not been accidentally sent to junk. A waist of time for sure. I have not seen a response from Microsoft addressing this but remain hopeful that they will respond with a solution or remedy to correct this obvious abuse.

After months of having this problem of dealing with my crummy outlook email client, I’ve dumped it and installed Thunderbird were there is a junk e-mail filter that actually works. I use microsoft as an email server only! Thunderbird is superior in every way, runs on desktop, not online ****. Keep outlook to wait until microsoft fixes the problem which should be around 2056. Say so long to preview@

I don't know if this will help you, but I found a rule that directs all of those to the junk folder, but I have specified in the rule to permanently delete them but it doesn't work. it is so frustrating and really ticks me off, I'm tired of the bs. Apply this rule after the message arrives to where my name is not in the To box and with "preview or new or info or office or medhireuniversity in the senders address and permanently delete it. except where my name is in the to box stop processing more rules. I have the enable rules on all messages downloaded from RSS feeds checked.

I also have a problem with an email getting permanently deleted that i want. So I marked the sender as safe, but it still gets permanently deleted every date. These reply messages from microsoft also end up permanently deleted.

The rule would work, if it worked. LOL I'm no expert on outlook, so if anyone can find my error with the rule please let me know, otherwise I'm going to abandon this email and start over.
