How can I get spam emails from these senders to stop? They are in the junk folder, so rules don't work.

All my preview and renew@emails have disappeared but now have them coming from different domains but same subjects. I got 50 yesterday. I am in U.K. but when I was in Spain a week ago I got very few of these junk emails.
Those prefix names are apparently no longer used by spammers but as you wrote, there are new ones. They appear to be 1 or 1 letters off and not consistently the same
Once they are consistently the same I hope Microsoft addresses those emails. I live in USA but I am frequently in Spain and I got lots of spam emails there.
Receiving email (and spam) has nothing to do with the geographical place where you are.
The explanation is that there was a period of about a week or so, when all these "preview@" and "renew@" spam stopped. The spammers are now coming back full vengeance, altering the sender email ever so slightly to pass through Outlook's spam filter again.
You must have traveled during that week.
My last "Preview" spam mail was about October 1, and I was getting 25-50 per day. It stopped radically and I must assume that Microsoft did something to stop it, so let's cheer them on, if but for a moment. It's been nice to have a break from the spam. It does seem to be coming back though, albeit slowly. Hopefully Microsoft can find a solution to identify this blatant spam and stop it before it clogs up our spam boxes. But I think it's a great sign that the "Preview" thing has stopped. Ideally they could give us keywords to block, that's simple technology and I can't even begin to understand why that is not available.

It is difficult to understand how a company like Microsoft wouldn't be able to find a technical solution for these pestering spam assaults on its own customers.
