How can I get spam emails from these senders to stop? They are in the junk folder, so rules don't work.

Thanks for the excellent answer. And, as you may know, these emails go in cycles. I used to get hundreds of "renew@XXX". Those finally went away, followed by "Preview@XXX". Others with different sender name are dropping in to.

Too bad Microsoft does nothing about it. But I also agree that the US Government needs to get involved. I spend a lot of time going through my junk email looking for legitimate emails mixed in with all the BOT emails.

Just wanted to mention that I have been having the same issue for several weeks. Initially it was emails with review@ domain but later most of them are coming from preview@
As other pointed out, creating a rule is not helpful here as the email address is different each time and rules don't apply to junk folder.
Blocking each email address is futile also as there are over 40 emails being sent each day, and the address is never quite the same.
We need Microsoft to come up with a solution as numerous users are frustrated. This is practically making it impossible to use our email account as it's very tedious to go through dozens of spam emails to locate the ones that you actually do need that end up in the Junk folder by accident.

    Please help.

Thanks for replying! With so many people responding to having the same identical problems, it would be reasonable to say everyone is just not opening the wrong email and within hours having 300 plus flooding our junk e-mail box. I had one person say it is the user’s responsibility, not Microsoft. I don’t get that! I’m using Thunderbird now and it does have a functional way to send these to the trash. I had no issues before we had to use the crummy online version of outlook.

I have also reported numerous times such emails to Microsoft. They have done nothing and will not do anything at all to stop them from annoying users like you and I.

It could be a real person using AI to generate replies. I recall months ago they introduced an AI generated response and urge volunteers like me to adopt the new feature. I tried it once (but did not post the reply) and decided not to use the feature. I trust my intelligence more than artificial intelligence.
