Am I hacked? (received an email from my own emailaddress)

Hi,

I received an email presumably send from my own emailaccount, subject 'You've been hacked' starting with

'I want to inform you about a very bad situation for you. However, you can benefit from it, if you will act wisеly. Have you heard of Pegasus? This is a spyware program that installs on computers and smartphones and allows hackers to monitor the activity of device owners. It provides access to your webcam, messengers, emails, call records, etc. It works well on Android, iOS, macOS and Windows. I guess, you already figured out where I’m getting at.'

Etc.

So the content of the email doesn't worry me, but what I can't understand is why the e-mail is send from my account. Or why it looks like it is send from my account. It doesn't show any other address.

When I check Source of the message, the following pops up, but this to me is jibberisch... Can anyone explain to me why it looks like I send this to myself and if I indeed been hacked or not?

Thank you!

Yeah you have been hacked. I think it is happening at the Microsoft end. They spent 2hrs remoting into my PC last night and couldn't find anything on my end. But when I reupped my subscription on their site. 2 days later the card I paid with got fraudulent charges on it. I had to put in a claim and void the charge card with my bank. The subscription was processed fine by Microsoft. However someone was able to get the transaction information and security code to charge on the card, The card was only used for the Micro soft subscription and no other on line purchases. Yet Microsoft has no explanation on how this could of occured. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER AM I.

Microsoft needs to fix this or be reported. No telling how many people are being scammed by this.

Me too , i have same problem...

That's is a new way they found it , it's a fake email address but how they can make exactly the same email address...

Personally i don't care but what will happen if in future they send email from our email address to important palaces ? For example with our email address they can send email and make some serious problems for us ... then who believes us if we say that email not from my email account ?

I think it will be a very big problem if they didn't fix it soon , it will be the end of posting by Email.
