I received an email presumably send from my own emailaccount, subject 'You've been hacked' starting with
'I want to inform you about a very bad situation for you. However, you can benefit from it, if you will act wisеly. Have you heard of Pegasus? This is a spyware program that installs on computers and smartphones and allows hackers to monitor the activity of device owners. It provides access to your webcam, messengers, emails, call records, etc. It works well on Android, iOS, macOS and Windows. I guess, you already figured out where I’m getting at.'
Etc.
So the content of the email doesn't worry me, but what I can't understand is why the e-mail is send from my account. Or why it looks like it is send from my account. It doesn't show any other address.
When I check Source of the message, the following pops up, but this to me is jibberisch... Can anyone explain to me why it looks like I send this to myself and if I indeed been hacked or not?

I cannot change my password because I am not receiving SMS on my phone. I don’t know what the problem is, but the SMS with the code is not arriving.

well i have to say i have been with microsoft since msdos dsays and i have to express my disgust with the way microsoft has become since the creator is no more the new board of chairs is a bunch of idiots that are only money driven and have no interest in its financiers iu have supported microsoft through thick and thin only to be let down for the last time now im on the beta testers for microsoft and have never recieved compensation for any testing and reports submitted. even when i trapped this hacker the support team of microsoft head office could not help me at all i honestly believe it is time to say goodbye microsoft and find a more stable and reliable os for eg Sun Micro systems or Linux but very volatile still but less hackers

I received the same email from my own account tonight and the text of the email was excatly same. i immideately changed my password and add mobile number to get otp on each login. i also delte all registered devices and clear all login activities. (which was showing i was logged in from various parts of the word like brazil, morocco UK, etc. )
should i format all of my devices also?
I just got an email today as well, but from my phone, it says it's from me (Outlook app on android), and even has my headshot picture on there. If I try to report as phishing from my phone, it says I can't report spam from same organization. or something like that. But when I log into hotmail web portal, and check the same email, it clearly shows it's not from me. It says <no sender address>, but it has a reply-to address that is the same as mine.
Seems maybe there is a bug in Microsoft Outlook mobile app, that if there is no sender, by the reply-to address is the same as yours, then it thinks it's from you, and updates the icon to look up your email icon etc and mobile app prevents you from reporting yourself.
