How do I download the "Classic" version of Outlook to my computer?

How do I download the "Classic" version of Outlook to my computer? My web hosting service who also supports my email address does not support Microsoft's New cloud-based Outlook app and therefore I need to use the Classic version. I have already downloaded my Microsoft 365 applications to a new computer and cannot figure out how to revert back to Classic Outlook. Thank you for your help.

Is Outlook installed? Outlook.exe is here - you can use Windows key + R to open the Run command and paste the path, including the parenthesis in the run box then press Enter.

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

if you use 32-bit Office, it is here -

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

If Outlook is installed and new Outlook opens when you click the link, see Use Classic Outlook, not New Outlook (slipstick.com)

If it is not installed, you can download Outlook here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/you-can-t-open-classic-outlook-on-a-new-windows-pc-5c94902b-31a5-4274-abb0-b07f4661edf5

    Hi Hans-GeorgSchmit,

Classic is no longer available to download.

Regarding OpenOffice, I have used it for years. However, I recently switched to LibreOffice because it work on my PC, my Mac and my iPad. It might be worth looking into.

    Cheers

If you have an office license, classic Outlook is available - it should still be in the office installs but may be missing on new computers with office preinstalled. If it is not installed, you can download Outlook here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/you-can-t-open-classic-outlook-on-a-new-windows-pc-5c94902b-31a5-4274-abb0-b07f4661edf5

I still have no Outlook email. It's been 4 days. I'm sick...truly sick with headaches..

    What exactly do you mean?

Is your Outlook.com email not downloading to Outlook classic?

If that is what you mean, what type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? POP, IMAP, Outlook.com, or Microsoft Exchange? You need to add the account to Outlook as Microsoft Exchange, not pop or imap.
