How do I download the "Classic" version of Outlook to my computer?

How do I download the "Classic" version of Outlook to my computer? My web hosting service who also supports my email address does not support Microsoft's New cloud-based Outlook app and therefore I need to use the Classic version. I have already downloaded my Microsoft 365 applications to a new computer and cannot figure out how to revert back to Classic Outlook. Thank you for your help.

Is Outlook installed? Outlook.exe is here - you can use Windows key + R to open the Run command and paste the path, including the parenthesis in the run box then press Enter.

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

if you use 32-bit Office, it is here -

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

If Outlook is installed and new Outlook opens when you click the link, see Use Classic Outlook, not New Outlook (slipstick.com)

    Windows Mail is going away - not Outlook or the office apps.

    If you have a subscription, installing office definitely should include outlook... the like to install Outlook is for users that have new computers as the OEM installation may not include outlook.

    If your office apps were removed when you installed Outlook, go to office.com, log into your Microsoft account that has the subscription and reinstall office,

    Thanks this was so helpful -- is there any way get the other apps to install -- they seemed to have left and I seems I have read that they are going to stop using them at the end of 2024. The Outlook issue was driving me crazy because 365 will not install it. Thanks again.
