what is the right settings for outlook for spectrum email

I hope this will solve the problem, it did for me. Change the settings from IMAP to POP. My outlook quit working on 2-5 tried everything most people on here did, then finally the IMAP to POP worked, hope this helps.

Summarizing what i'm reading so far the interim work arounds, until outlook (new) store app gets an update pushed that fixes this, are . . .

a) if you can revert store app install from outlook (new) to outlook (classic) using the help menu > go to outlook (classic) button option

b) configure outlook (new) store app using pop3 tls/995 instead of imap tls/993 same incoming mail server

c) use spectrum web app mail solution https://mail3.spectrum.net/ or alternative mail app in store supporting imap/smtp connections

Thanks Ken. I was able to get on the phone with Microsoft support and the problem was that I was using the "new" Outlook. I had to go back to the Classic version.

I found the download for Old Outlook on Microsoft support here: You can't open classic Outlook on a new Windows PC - Microsoft Support . I downloaded it and was shocked to see that everything worked perfectly, my emails and files are all there. Even though I had deleted my email account from New Outlook and couldn't get back in, I didn't have to re-add my account...it was all just there!

I have changed it from IMAP to POP and it worked but not to my expectations. I expected to see all of my folders, and I have a lot, but they were not there. IMAP worked perfect and showed all the folders up until a few weeks ago. As you can see there are many more complaining about IMAP that just quit working unexpectedly. Thanks for your info though.
